the crew behind it all
With over 250 weddings under our belts, this team knows their stuff. Originally meeting while students at the University of Colorado Boulder, we turned our college side-gigs into full time careers. We’re a small crew, so we all wear lots of hats, but one thing we all share is a love for filmmaking and making people smile.
BAILEY MICLETTE
lead filmmaker, OWNER
Bailey is a filmmaker based in downtown Denver, CO. With degrees in Marketing and Technology, Art, and Media Design from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, Bailey has had films accepted into film festivals and worked extensively in the music industry as a Regional Promotional Content Coordinator for Universal Music Group and their associated labels and artists. He’s got the experience and knowledge to handle weddings (and TV commercials!) of any scale. He even spent a summer as a backpacking guide in Rocky Mountain National Park, making him perfect for those alpine weddings!
EMMA HARRIS
LEAD filmmaker
Emma Harris is a filmmaker and editor based in Boulder, Colorado. Like the rest of the Buffalo Film Co. team, she also attended the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Media Production and a minor in Technology, Art and Media. She has directed projects ranging from conceptual music videos to abstract portrait projects for small brands. She has been with the BFC team since August of 2020 and has grown to become a key part of making what we do at Buffalo Film Co. possible.
ANDREW SHEPHERD
LEAD FILMMAKER
Andrew has been working with photo & video for the past 8 years, both freelance and full time from Seattle to Austin, and now Denver! When he’s not filming or out in the Rockies, you can find him riding his motorcycle around town. He believes candid footage and small moments are what really drive a wedding film from good to great, and keeping the day as stress-free and exciting are what makes Buffalo Film Co. films the best in Colorado.
